Everything at Gironda B-Luxe, an intimate B&B in the heart of Ravenna, revolves around three A’s: accommodation, art, and architecture. And four colors (one for each room): gold, blue, green, and red. Designed by GMA Architecture & Interior Design, the property merges antiquity, modernity, and all the finer details of luxury accommodation. While each of its newly built rooms has its own unique color scheme, all share a deep sense of warmth, hospitality, and a taste for art, while harmoniously interacting with the building’s historic character. Special attention went into crafting every detail so that each room seamlessly and respectfully integrates with the existing interiors.

The contribution to the project by dormakaba involved this balancing of classical elegance and contemporary comfort. Specialized in high-tech access control, the firm supplied locks, readers, and the related management software, all designed to provide maximum security while harmonizing with the structure’s design and style. Its Pixel locks are a good example, combining a cutting-edge electronic opening system with an elegant, minimalist esthetic. Likewise, its Olivari door handles add an extra touch of sophistication to the rooms.

The company also supplied SR readers, so that guests can access common areas using a badge, enhancing convenience, security, and ease of management. At the heart of the system is the Ambiance software, a centralized platform that enables real-time control of all access operations at Gironda B-Luxe. From a single interface, all locks and readers are monitored intuitively and efficiently.

The result is a seamless blend of advanced technology, design, and smart products tailored to enhancing the guest experience.
