Medit, a company specializing in shades and groundbreaking solutions for light management, developed Skylight systems to meet complex design needs, with the range including a product for every shape, size, inclination, pitch change, and application, including the most challenging. Besides effectively regulating natural light, these products play a fundamental role in building energy optimization, thermal comfort, lighting well-being, acoustics, and solar control.

The Skylight range includes products for flat, curved, triangular, and trapezoidal applications; systems for large openings; and systems for glazed structures, atria, courtyards, and terraces. There are also models for smaller windows and blackout shades with a minimalist design. The Skylight Tess 100 system, for example, was specifically designed for applications with an intermediate change in pitch. (Two or more pitch changes are also possible provided the breaks are two to three meters apart.) The Tess 101 system is specifically for trapezoidal installations, including those with pitch changes, while the Tess 120 and Tess 140 lines are intended for linear installations, with or without side guides, such as façade mullions. Other systems are made for large‑format windows.

A stacking system intended for large areas, the Skylight Tess 512 system is recommended for glazed structures, courtyards, and terraces. The roller tube is galvanized steel, while the shade is certified Class 3 wind resistant. Finally, the Tess 600, 602, and 660 are for small openings of various shapes requiring full blackout. These shades are certified Class 3–6 wind resistant.
All these products reflect Medit’s philosophy of going beyond standards to open new possibilities through innovation and technical rigor.
