The newly built Prostir Business Hub is a multi-use complex comprising offices, warehouses, and commercial spaces. A contemporary reinterpretation of the traditional pitched-roof houses of Zymna Voda – a municipality in Ukraine’s Lviv Oblast region – the result is a visually striking,  highly functional composition of horizontal waves created by pitched roofs and vibrant tones of Falun red. The hub, designed by Aranchii Architects, developed by AlterraGroup, and managed by Airontrade, establishes a strong architectural identity.

By reinterpreting traditional Ukrainian homes as a sequence of separate volumes, the architects created a complex for a productive working community founded on collaboration, union, and interaction. It comprises three main buildingsoccupying over 12,000 m2. Each unit can be subdivided into multiples of the base module, with roof spans of 6 or 12 m, depending on the building, to maximize functionality. Most of the interiors are open plan, further increasing configuration options and flexibility for workers.

Supplier PolyPiù made a significant contribution to the project with its polycarbonate systems. For the vertical enclosures, the architects opted for the PanelPiù 500/40 opal modular multiwall polycarbonate system, characterized by high mechanical strength, excellent light transmission, and a uniform appearance achieved with invisible joints. Light transmission is further enhanced by the opaline honeycomb polycarbonate, which produces visual comfort and material continuity between volumes. Also, with integrated UV protection and good thermal insulation, the PolyPiù system contributes to the building’s energy efficiency and the durability of the façades.

The complex maintains a close relationship with the adjacent Circular Road. Its pitched roofs, with staggered terraced gables, draw the attention of passersby, while the translucent façades facing the road open the showrooms to natural light while revealing something of what goes on inside. The result is contemporary industrial architecture in which function, form, and material constantly interact.
