MIPIM Awards 2026 - Winners Announced
By Editorial Staff -

The winners of the 2026 MIPIM Awards, among the most prestigious international recognitions dedicated to the real estate sector, were announced on 12 March at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes. Established in 1991, the MIPIM Awards celebrate each year the world’s most visionary projects—both completed and under development—set to shape the future of cities and guide trends toward places that are more resilient, inclusive, and inspiring.

Now in its 35th edition, this year the competition received submissions from 19 countries worldwide. Entries were evaluated based on the project’s environmental performance, its integration within the surrounding context, user experience, economic contribution, originality, and architectural quality. In this edition, the jury placed particular emphasis on projects that integrate sustainability and circularity as fundamental principles of development.

In addition to the ten thematic categories, the MIPIM Awards also include the Special Jury Award, which this year went to the Sydney Fish Market, a new international gastronomic destination as well as an efficient hub for trade and commercial activities. Designed by 3XN GXN as design architect, with BVN Architecture as partner architect, the project draws inspiration from the archetype of the traditional market and stands out for its large floating roof in wood and aluminum, which appears almost suspended above the building.

The next edition of MIPIM is scheduled to take place from 9 to 12 March 2027, once again at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes.
