Unveiled at Cersaie 2025 and already the recipient of several prestigious awards, the collection grew from a fluid, meditative design approach that took shape as rhythmic, hand-drawn patterns – moods and feelings translated into spontaneous strokes, turning the surface into a canvas of never‑repeating motifs, recalling a fabric with subtle Zen references. Carefully balancing the skill of hand‑drawn design with technological innovation and precision has produced a minor revolution in ceramic tile decoration.

Like the entire Iconic Design range, Ink brings expressiveness and character to interiors, transforming them with contemporary moods and into sources of inspiration. The most striking thing about the product is its vivid pattern. Conceived to evoke constantly shifting fabric, its appearance changes with the light and the viewer’s position. This fluid effect is further emphasized by the 80×80 cm format. Ceramiche Refin has paid meticulous attention to the pattern so that each stroke on the ceramic surface seems to emerge from an unconscious stream of thought, forming intimate, unrepeatable rhythms that enrich the space. The visual depth shifts with viewing distance, altering the perception of the pattern, which appears sharper or more visually dense, revealing the complexity of the composition.

The palette comprises three neutral tones of white, gray, and black; three warm, saturated shades of earth, blush, and beige; and two deeper, more introspective tones of blue and green. Like the pattern, the palette was conceived to translate moods and feelings, giving the collection an emotional dimension. Each color represents a facet of our inner world and its emotions.
