The projects in the ‘Transport’ category of THE PLAN Award 2021

Stations, ports, airports, and infrastructures: public places dedicated to transport are nerve centers of the cities, with a strong representative charge for the territory. Places that call designers to deal with multiple aspects and project scales, in a complex balance between cutting-edge technologies and principles of sustainability, futuristic design and reduction of the impact on the landscape.

There are 9 shortlisted projects in the ‘Transport’ category of THE PLAN Award 2021, between the two sections Completed and Future, from all over the world. These works have already passed the first selection phase of the prestigious annual architecture and design award and could be included by the jury among the finalists. However, everyone can vote for their favorite projects in view of the assignment of the Community Wish List Special Prize.
