The projects in the ‘Special Projects’ category of THE PLAN Award 2021

Exhibitions – Temporary structures – Research and innovative projects

Temporary pavilions, emergency structures, staging for exhibition spaces, research and innovation projects: all these particular interventions find space in the ‘Special Projects’ category, which collects experimental ideas and achievements. Projects that arise from the fusion of architecture and nature, art and science, breaking the boundaries of the classic sectors to widen the gaze on new opportunities.

There are 23 shortlisted projects in the ‘Special Projects’ category of THE PLAN Award 2021, between the two sections Completed and Future, from all over the world. These works have already passed the first selection phase of the prestigious annual architecture and design award and could be included by the jury among the finalists. However, everyone can vote for their favorite projects in view of the assignment of the Community Wish List Special Prize.
