Simple, flexible, elegant, and essential, but still able to respond to a huge range of aesthetic and structural needs, the new Reversa 44 flush hinged door is one of the latest products from Protek®. The door is designed and made to meet the needs of clients, retailers, and installers, but ease of use and beauty have been anything but overlooked. It’s the result, in other words, of incorporating into a single product a whole series of requirements, with the design and construction details equally important. It strikes a balance between the features wanted by end users and professionals in terms of ease of installation.
The one version responds to all installation needs, regardless of the method and direction of opening. In other words, Reversa 44 can be left- or right-hung with an identical axis of rotation. These features alone hint at a product that was designed to ensure ease of use, starting from handling in the warehouse through to installation. The cost component also hasn’t been overlooked. Supplied with hardware for plastered and plasterboard walls, two 3-axis adjustable concealed hinges, and die-cast aluminum corner brackets for sealing between the stud and header, Reversa 44 is adaptable to any wall thickness.
This Protek® product also offers advantages in terms of insulation, painting, and customization. As regards insulation, the door has noise reducing seals on three sides, which also put a stop to unwanted light. Painting is up to the client, with the inside face of the door supplied unpainted. The honeycomb core is covered with a primer-treated MDF panel that’s easy and fast to paint. Finally, as regards customization, the company’s aim is always to supply a product whose style is in keeping with its setting. For this reason, the door is supplied with a magnetic lock and a range of choices when it comes to the personal detail of the handle.
