“Since modern homes have high-performance thermal insulation and building envelopes that minimize emissions, we no longer need traditional heating systems,” says Alberico Crosetta, CEO of Antrax IT. “We do, however, still need accessories that can enhance comfort levels, especially in the bathroom.” Addressing this new dimension of contemporary living was the starting point for the designers. Their response is Tavolina and Carlo & Tina, two new ranges of heaters that break the mold of traditional radiators. Although conceptually different, all these products share the same distinctive characteristics: compactness, design-driven style, electric operation, low energy consumption, and high heat output. Another important detail is that these products aren’t designed to heat spaces – the job of underfloor and central heating systems – but solely to warm and dry bathrobes and towels, providing targeted personal comfort.

Tavolina, the latest addition to the Tavola and Tavoletta range, is a slim bar of fully recyclable aluminum. With the Antrax IT Color Chart offering a wide range of shades, there are numerous customization options to ensure seamless integration into most bathrooms. The mounting system – which requires no wall preparation – can be customized according to user preferences and to optimize towel storage. When fitted vertically, Tavolina provides an extra space for hanging bathrobes. Several units can also be arranged in different compositions, with each providing a different function.

The other new addition to the Antrax IT catalog is Carlo & Tina. Designed by Dante O. Benini and Andrea Crosetta, the units consist of vertical 100% recyclable aluminum tubes. Carlo is a pure design element with essential, elegant forms inspired by drip trays designed by Carlo Scarpa. Its signature feature is a stainless steel hook, also available in polished or brushed chrome. Tina, intended to complement Carlo, has all of its functionality, performance, and customization options, except that the detail inspired by the master architecture is substituted by two slender cylindrical end caps, each one centimeter thick, and also made of stainless steel.

Carlo & Tina can be used individually or combined. They are available in over two hundred colors and with a range of metallic finishes, including a Copper look, the muted Light Gold, and the deeply lustrous Black Diamond. Carlo & Tina are ideal for both bathrooms and spas. They’re also at home as clothes racks in living areas or in kitchens, where they create a feeling of domestic comfort.
