The collection designed by Dordoni was manufactured with total respect for the environment in large and unglazed porcelain stoneware slabs, using partially recycled raw materials. As with all the Mutina collections, Stage is the result of a production process which totally eliminates V.O.C. (Volatile Organic Compounds): these volatile chemicals easily evaporate at room temperature (benzene, chloroform, ethanol, butane and formaldehyde) and prolonged exposure to them can, in closed environments, cause both acute and chronic effects for the health.
The continuous improvements made to the productive process used make it suitable to green buildings and represent a radical innovation of the production process. Stage is presented in 4 colors – Sale, Sabbia, Polvere and Notte – and in 3 big modular slabs in the sizes 80x180, 13,5x180 and 26,5x180. Stage collection is part of the “industrial” products range by Mutina and has been specifically designed to enhance residential spaces.
