Mapetherm Tile System System For Applying Tiles To Thermal Insulation Panels

The building industry’s growing use of insulation systems for achieving adequate thermal comfort levels has made it necessary to develop a specific system for fixing ceramic and stone tiles to board insulation that produces better results than conventional tiling methods. Mapei’s response is the Mapetherm Tile System, which makes it possible to apply ceramic and natural stone tiles - large, thin products, in particular - to EPS and XPS panels.
Featuring high mechanical strength and a low modulus of elasticity, the Mapetherm Tile System can support the weight and stresses generated by both tile wall finishes and thermal expansion.
