Surrounded by greenery and deliberately set apart from the urban fabric, this residence in the Middle East blurs the line between home and boutique retreat. Set along the eastern Mediterranean coast and conceived to host both everyday family life and frequent social gatherings, the house offers its owners the feeling of living in a private resort.

When the property was acquired, only the structural shell existed. Spread across two levels within a 200 sq. m interior and a generous garden plot, the house became a true blank canvas. The owners commissioned the project to Pazit Winer, founder of her eponymous studio and a lifelong friend. Together, they developed a modern eclectic language, weaving curated furniture and art pieces collected over years of travel into a cohesive spatial narrative.
Rooted in a desire to echo Milan’s design sensibility, the interiors draw directly from the latest trends observed in the Italian capital of design. Travertine flooring extends seamlessly from the ground floor into the garden, reinforcing a continuous dialogue between interior and exterior.
At the heart of the home, the kitchen becomes both a functional and social focal point. A dark-stained wood cabinetry paired with a monolithic stainless-steel island creates a sculptural centrepiece where family and guests can gather around.
Upstairs, the spatial hierarchy becomes more intimate, with parquet flooring introducing warmth to the private quarters. The main bedroom suite presents bespoke champagne-tinted glass wardrobes and richly textured wall finishes reminiscent of contemporary Italian interiors.

The home was conceived as an experiential space with expansive glazing framing the views of the lush garden and turquoise pool, infusing daily life with a holiday atmosphere. Custom carpentry with concealed lighting adds depth and mood, while carefully selected artworks and textiles lend a collected, global character.
Bathrooms complete the resort-like vision with spa-inspired features, from expansive travertine surfaces to oversized showers and soft ambient lighting.
