In designing Casa Moncler’s new headquarters, ACPV Architects opted for an essential yet elegant architectural language that reinterprets the industrial aesthetic through a contemporary lens, combining efficiency, sustainability, and occupant well‑being in a project that centers on light. Developed by Covivio, the building stands in the heart of Milan’s Symbiosis district. With six aboveground and two basement levels and large, flexible spaces, the building accommodates over 700 employees in a functional, high‑quality environment that remains visually open to the exterior through expansive glazing. Its overall character is both refined and substantial.
The company’s new headquarters stands as a model of contemporary, sustainable architecture in which light, materials, and technology create a distinctive spatial experience, making the building a benchmark for urban regenerationprojects and high‑quality workplaces in Milan.

All workspaces are flexible and welcoming. As designer of the entire interior lighting system, Como Lighting used light as a defining element that articulates the building’s volumes, materials, and day‑to‑day activities. Its fully custom lighting design tailored each fixture to integrate into the building’s ecosystem and architectural language. Each contributes to the overall composition by engaging materials, surfaces, and geometries in a discreet, integrated manner.
Custom lighting installations appear in the shared spaces and the approximately 7500 m2 bioclimatic greenhouse. They create light pathways, pause areas, and interaction zones that reinforce the dialogue between nature and architecture. In other words, light guides people through the various spaces, shaping their experience and supporting well‑being, focus, and creativity.

The Serena fixture, specified for the work areas and textile lab, was produced in roughly twenty variants with finishes selected specifically for the project. This ensured stylistic continuity, uniformity, and optimal visual comfort across all conditions and programmatic needs.
The project also includes the Bergen system, an innovative side‑lit LED system that distributes light evenly through a high‑transparency polymer optical guide and a next‑generation micro‑structured film. The light produced is balanced and controlled, providing a natural, harmonious visual quality that aligns with the building’s contemporary character.

“At Casa Moncler’s headquarters, light creates identity and serves as a narrative device, enhancing architecture and occupant well-being,” said Amos Citterio, managing director of Como Lighting. “This project demonstrates our ability to deliver complex, tailor-made lighting systems in which technology and design are integrated into the architectural vision to produce unique, coherent, and functional spaces.”
