The new outdoor collection by Tribù, designed by Kyoko Inoda from Japan and Nils Sveje from Denmark, emerges from a meeting of sculptural softness, meticulous craftsmanship and natural minimalism. Named Nagomi, it is defined by fluid, understated lines and conceived for moments of relaxation and conviviality alike: from armchairs and lounge chairs to benches and dining tables with teak or ceramic tabletops on aluminum frames, as well as loungers available with fixed legs or wheels, including stackable versions. The elegant, restrained nature of the collection is shaped by ultra-light die-cast aluminum frames, complemented by handwoven Canax® detailing and natural textures.

Following a preview at Milan Design Week 2025, Nagomi was officially launched in February 2026 and is now on view at Tribù’s flagship showroom in Milan’s Durini Design District. The collection integrates effortlessly into a wide range of settings, lending spaces a quiet sophistication. The name itself captures this spirit: in Japanese, nagomi evokes harmony, calm, peace and balance, reflecting the essence of the country’s tradition and esthetics.

The designers explain: “Central to Nagomi’s design philosophy is the idea of organic minimalism. We focus on a human-centered approach. Nagomi seamlessly adapts to the human body”. The collection’s ergonomic curves ensure lasting comfort, while tactile surfaces invite touch. Each piece is available in multiple sizes and finishes, combining two distinct frame and weave options: Linen, aluminum with a linen weave, and Dark Bronze, aluminum with a copper weave. The collection’s table is designed to pair seamlessly with armchairs and benches, creating refined outdoor settings for shared moments.

Nagomi also reflects the values of Tribù itself, with whom Inoda+Sveje worked closely for nearly two years. After exploring materials, concepts, and techniques, the final result is shaped by respect for craftsmanship, tradition, innovation and a forward-looking vision. “Together, we have consistently raised the bar, blending tradition with innovation, and crafting products that embody both beauty and functionality while honoring our shared commitment to sustainability”, adds Koen De Cock, owner of Tribù.
