A Technical and Identity-Defining Transformation

In the financial heart of Milan – just a stone’s throw from Piazza Gae Aulenti, the contemporary business district, and Bosco Verticale, the celebrated “vertical forest” towers – Twister Architetti Associati has completed the redesign of TeamSystem’s headquarters inside the landmark building at Via Pirelli 35, originally designed by Park Associati and Snøhetta. Spanning ten floors and roughly 12,000 sq. m, the project delivers an innovative workplace where design and performance operate in lockstep. Completed in just seven months, the transformation was driven by Coiver Group, appointed as general contractor to oversee the full fit-out. Coiver managed every phase – from planning through delivery – ensuring exceptional quality within record time. Each of the ten floors was reimagined with a distinct identity, defined by customized furnishings, partitions and lockers that also ensure a high degree of flexibility. Open-plan areas that can shift to meet changing needs are flanked by meeting rooms, touchdown stations and more informal spaces. Some levels offer distinctive features: the first includes a company gym and break area; the ninth provides an event space with reconfigurable partitions, plus a bar and terrace; and the tenth combines executive functions with new multimedia-production spaces. Technology runs as a consistent thread throughout.

The primary challenge for Coiver Group was technical: reconstructing the interior shell while concealing exposed systems using advanced sound-blocking solutions. The work included baffle ceilings, acoustic wall treatments, structural acoustic panels and soffits concealing ducts for air-distribution channels. These elements enhance acoustic and thermal comfort while establishing a cohesive architectural language aligned with the project identity. Material and color selections were equally intentional. Brand colors appear immediately in the lobby, while glass and wood define the architectural palette – most notably in the full-height glazed partitions framed in solid wood. Within Coiver Group, the Ferlegno Factory division created customizable Natural operable partitions, using glulam oak or bamboo profiles with single or double glazing offered in multiple finishes.
The in-house integration of joinery and general contracting made it possible to shorten production timelines while maintaining full control over quality, acoustics and material sustainability. Ferlegno’s engineering capabilities further expedited design development, while helping translate concepts into buildable solutions quickly and accurately. With this project, Coiver Group again demonstrates its capacity to work with leading Italian and international architecture firms, delivering integrated general-contracting and custom joinery services. This synergy weaves together design excellence, technological rigor and dependable delivery – hallmark values of the Group’s corporate and executive work.
