Located at 214 Lafayette Street, Casa Gessi New York is surrounded by the converted industrial buildings – now lofts and other accommodation – typical of SoHo, the cultural, artistic and commercial center of Lower Manhattan. Housed in a five-story neoclassical building built in 1872, formerly an electric power plant and later home to artists and creatives, the showroom embodies the values of Made in Italy, showcasing a bespoke approach to furniture design and emphasizing the Italian lifestyle through the meticulous selection of the items on display and the thoughtfully curated route through which one experiences everything. 

From the outside, the building has the symmetrical layout typical of 19th century architecture, with a large central window that illuminates the interior and offers panoramic views of the surrounding area. Upon entering – the place is only open by appointment – visitors embark on a journey through a sophisticated environment that showcases the excellence of the products on display. Surrounded by the ledwalls that characterize the second floor, visitors are immersed in an imaginative world of natural inspiration, where the most iconic creations of the moment are displayed. The next floor up is home to the Gessi Boutique, an exhibition space inspired by the world of jewelry and showcasing a wide range of bathroom solutions. As the visitor moves up the building, the environment changes once again, inviting them to linger in comfortable lounges and discover Gessi’s exquisite products, now presented in 15 trunks that house new creations like treasure chests full of jewels. After passing through the fourth floor, which houses offices and meeting rooms, visitors reach the fifth floor. Here, in an exclusive and intimate space, they can admire all the collections in different shades and finishes. It is a space in which customers receive personalized assistance in selecting products that fully meet the needs of their projects.

The adjoining terrace and bar enrich this last level, conveying a sense of welcome and conviviality that completes the visitor experience.
